Breakdown Cover Explained
1. AT HOME:
If your vehicle breaks down at home we'll come to the rescue. You can even book a time that suits you.
2. ROADSIDE RESCUE:
You'll be covered if your vehicle breaks down on the road. If your vehicle cannot be fixed at the roadside you'll also get a national tow to a destination of your choice.
3. RECOVERY:
If we can't get your vehicle repaired at the roadside we'll take you, your vehicle and up to 8 passengers to a single destination of your choice in the UK.
4. ONWARD TRAVEL:
If you breakdown and we cannot fix the problem the same day we'll either:-
- (a) - Arrange a hire car for up to 3 days
- (b) - 1 night bed and breakfast
- (c) - Alternative transport (up to £150 per person to max £500
5. ACCIDENT CARE:
If you have an accident, call us first and we'll come to your rescue, all RAC members receive end-to-end Accident Care service, if you have an accident whether your fault or not call us first and we'll come to your rescue and talk you through every step of the process.
- RAC accident care includes:
- (a) - We'll come to your rescue if you have an accident
- (b) - Personal injury assistance and help to recover your expenses if it is not your fault
- (c) - Replacement vehicle and quality repairs
6 . LEGAL ADVICE:
All RAC members are entitled to free support through our 24/7 Legal Helpline. Our team of qualified legal advisors provide clear and simple advice across a wide range of private legal matters such as:-
- (a) - Wills - what a will is and how it protects you, your love ones and your assets
- (b) - Employment - redundancy, discrimination and other employment related issues
- (c) - Family - disputes over child residency and financial settlements
- (d) - Property - purchasing and selling, boundary disputes and tenancy agreements
